An evening with Andraé Crouch - "The king of gospel"

Merchy Ships Norway arranged a mini-tour with ANDRAÉ CROUCH and friends.

The King of Gospel "Andrae Crouch was on a small tour of Norway to Stavanger, Kristiansand and Oslo 24-26. June. and Stavanger Gospel Choir together with other artist took part in concerts in Stavanger, Kristiansand and Oslo.

It was exciting to meet and work with one of the greatest gospel artists in the world, and it was no wonder to us that he's been working with artist like; Michael Jackson, Madonna, Stevie Wonder etc. Andraè has 9 Grammys, and He and his singers performed all his hits (quite a few).

The goal of the tour was also to raise money for Mercy Ships and their work in South Africa, and the tour was a success both in market and economic for Mercy Ships, and they got 150 new regular donors.

Stavanger Gospel Choir rocked the house down! Samuel Ljungblad rocked the house down! Voice Of Joy rocked the house down!

Stavanger Gospel Choir - 3'rd album - Free at Last

Stavanger Gospel Choir latest album ”Free at last” and single "Christmas at Last" is available at ITunes (together with other albums)! This latest album and single has got standing ovation from the press and media, and has been presented both in radio an on National TV. Stavanger Gospel Choir latest album is an modern gospel album with an funky and unique R&B sound. The choir has been through a generational change the last 5-8 years, and the choir and band is new and modern in both sound and expression. We hope that we through this album shall reach out to all our old fans, but we also hope to get the attention to our new and younger audience with this modern album.

All arrangements, words and music on “Free at Last” are done by our own singers, conductor and musicians, and it is produced by one of our own musicians (Trond Tellefsen). We have also released an Christmas single and samples of these latest recordings can be viewed from our performances on national TV under:
